Who We Are

I graduated from Penn State University in June 1971, marking the beginning of my professional journey. This achievement laid the foundation for my career in law, shaping the path I would follow in the years to come.

I began my professional career as a broker trainee at Marsh & McLennan in New York City from 1971 to 1972. In September 1972, I enrolled at the University of Toledo in Ohio, where I pursued my law degree and graduated from law school in 1975. In 1975 I was appointed law clerk to the judges of York County.

I served as the Solicitor to York County Children and Youth from 1976 to 1982, where I worked on legal matters concerning child welfare. Additionally, I was the Solicitor to the York County Clerk of Courts from 1976 until my retirement in 2004, providing legal counsel and representation for nearly three decades.

I also held the position of Solicitor to the York County Transportation Authority from 1976 until my retirement in 2004, where I provided legal guidance on transportation matters. From 1996 to 2010, I served as the Solicitor for the Block Grant and Home Loan Program for the York County Planning Commission, assisting with housing and community development initiatives. Most recently, in 2022, I joined the State College Human Relations Commission as a board member, continuing my commitment to public service and community engagement.
